NextEnergy Solar Fund Limited (NESF) is a renewable energy infrastructure investment company that invests in utility scale solar power plants. NESF currently owns operating solar assets in the UK and Italy, and has an approved mandate to expand into international solar markets and energy storage.
NESF is listed on the premium segment of the London Stock Exchange and is a constituent of the FTSE250. NESF has been awarded the London Stock Exchange’s Green Economy Mark and has been designated a Guernsey Green Fund by the Guernsey Financial Services Commission.
NESF’s investment objective is to provide ordinary shareholders with attractive risk-adjusted returns. Since its IPO in 2014, NESF has invested £1,252m in high quality, diversified solar assets, expanded in energy storage via a £100m joint venture with Eelpower, and started to expand into utility scale solar assets internationally.
The NESF portfolio currently has a total installed capacity of 895MW.
